Chroma key compositing, or chroma keying, is a technique for compositing (layering) pictures or videos together based on the original footage's color range (chroma range). The technique has been utilized vigorously as a part of numerous fields to remove the background from the subject of a photograph or video especially the newscasting, movie and videogame industries.
